Led by ultra trail runner Rebecca Read, this event is perfect for beginners or those looking to refine their trail running skills. After a slow paced but invigorating run through scenic forest trails, we’ll unwind with a relaxing yoga session in the vineyard and then a flight of beer on the patio at Niagara College Teaching Brewery.
Move, stretch, run, and sip—this is the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation!
Lunch/snacks available for purchase at the winery.
This event starts and finishes at Niagara College Teaching Brewery, 135 Taylor Rd, Niagara on the Lake
10 am - 1 pm
Running Distance: Approx 5-6 km
Terrain: Uneven single track dirt trails and gravel paths. Rocks and roots on the trails. Some inclines and declines.
Fitness Level: Average fitness, prior running experience (road or trail). Must be able to run up to 5 km. Not suitable for those with mobility issues.
Yoga: Beginner level
What to Bring:
small backpack
water/snack
dress for the weather
trail shoes (with good tread)
sandals to change into after the hike
sun screen
bug spray
hat/sunglasses
yoga mat
This event runs rain or shine! We do not cancel for light rain, so please dress accordingly. However, in the case of heavy rain, extreme winds, or lightning—conditions that make running unsafe—we may need to cancel. If cancellation is necessary due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control, you will have the option to join the rescheduled date or receive a full refund.
