The summer break is behind us and it's time to keep things pushing forwards with Take Note: Songwriter Sessions. There are going to be a few changes from this edition onwards but fear not, the remaining events for 2025 and right up until the summer break of 2026 are already locked down and ready to go :)
As mentioned, a slight change to the hosting is due to commence as of September's edition. Unfortunately I am no longer able to continue hosting the event due to having to return to studying over the duration of this school year alongside my day job as a teacher. Night School time for me ! But I have invested time and care into finding a suitable host to take over and bring something new and different to the table. So come on down on Tuesday 9th September when all will be made clear :)
Very excited to have this Gentleman opening up the final run of events for 2025. A genuinely unique musical maverick and on our doorstep in Dresden for all to enjoy!! Not the norm in any case; not your typical songwriter evening, but expect to be entertained and bring yer dancin shoes...
Frisch Gelooptes, funky, offen und unverblümt, extraordinär performed, albern und mit dem Publikum zelebriert und gefeiert.
Matthias Peuker, Gründer der Top Dog Brass Band und Triple Trouble, bekannt als Trommler Peuker, Erbauer der kultigen drumsOnite - Koffertrommeln, Oberlausitzer, Dresdner, tourt seit über 30 Jahren durch die Clubs und Festivals in Europa und singt seit 20 Jahren zu den Trommeln.
Nun traut er sich als Solist, Looper, Multi-Instrumentalist und Sänger vor Publikum … und das Tanzen kann er sich auch nicht verkneifen … OMG… eine überaus charmante und sonderbare musikalische Virtuosität gespielt auf einer eigens erfundenen Maschine sowie Squashschläger, Minikeyboards u.a.
Seine Musik bleibt funky. Eigene Songs und ausgewählte Cover werden per Live-Looping durch die Maschinen und Mikros gezerrt und extraordinär performed, mit dem Publikum zelebriert und gefeiert.
Zudem zeigt Peuker nicht nur offen und unverblümt wofür seine Kunst steht, sondern auch ganz klar wogegen. In diesem Sinne ... Kein Millimeter nach Rechts!

As ever, doors are at 7pm, music from 8pm onwards :) Free entry with a minimum donation per audience member required. Come on down!
