Take Me To The River: New Orleans is a feature documentary film celebrating the undeniable musical history, heritage, legacy, culture, and influence of New Orleans and Louisiana. The soundtrack for the film was released on Petaluma Records on April 1, 2022. Take Me to The River - New Orleans LIVE! features some of the most influential figures of modern New Orleans funk, R&B, soul & jazz, together on the same stage for a set of unforgettable music. The 22/23 show features New Orleans royalty George Porter Jr leading his own band the Runnin’ Pardners, GRAMMY® winner Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen and the legendary blues/soul man Walter “Wolfman” Washington who has been a mainstay in the New Orleans music scene since the early 1960s. Expect an all-star evening complete with artist collaborations, musical virtuosity, and most importantly, good times!
