Take Flight 5K

Campus Recreation and Wellness would like to invite you to the second annual Take Flight 5k as part of the 2022 Homecoming and Family Weekend!

Join us Sunday, April 3, bright and early to run our beautiful campus course. This event is open to the entire UHCL community and non-UHCL individuals/groups.

Registration Cost

5K Runner or Walker

• Enrolled UHCL Students Rate: $20
• Non-Student Rate: $30

Dog Walk

• Free registration with an item donation for the Houston Humane Society

Kid Activity Zone (5-12 years)

• There is no additional cost for children of participants in the 3K or 5K.

Registration Process

Register through https://rwconnect.uhcl.edu, log in using your UHCL credentials. For non-UHCL individuals you will be asked to create a profile. Once your profile has been created, select Take Flight 5K, and follow the prompts to complete your registration.

Registration opens Friday, March 4 and will remain open until race day!

Check in will be from 7:15 – 8:30 a.m. in the Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) East Plaza

Expected flight times

• 5k Runner flight: 8:30 a.m.
• 5k Walker flight: 8:40 a.m.
• 3k Dog Walk flight: 8:50 a.m.
