Take Back The Night is coming to Barrie this September!
Hosted by Athena's Counselling and Advocacy Centre. "Take Back the Night" (TBTN) is a campaign and event that raises awareness and promotes solidarity against all forms of sexual violence and gender-based violence. It's a movement that aims to reclaim public spaces and ensure everyone feels safe and respected, especially at night. First brought to Canada in 1978, Take Back the Night continues annually across the country and internationally to protest violence against women in all forms.
