It's time to take the kids mountain biking!Join us Saturday October 6th for our Take A Kid Mountain Biking event in partnership with TX NICA at Gateway Park in Fort Worth, TX.
This event is oriented towards Middle School and High School age kids (6th Grade through 12th grade) of all levels.
The objective of this event is to also provide a platform for students who want to get involved in mountain biking, and that want to learn about racing/training on a team. The TX NICA team will be in attendance with coaches from the local teams Fort Worth Flyers & South Metro Cyclones.
Schedule:
- 2:00PM Check-in
- 2:30PM Safety Briefing and Separate groups (beginner, intermediate and advanced)
- 2:45 Ride starts
- 4PM Ride ends
Equipment required:
* Bicycle and helmet
* Closed-toe shoes
* Water bottle or hydration pack
* Gloves
* Eye protection
