International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day (TKMBD) is an annual event that seeks to introduce the joy of mountain biking to the next generation. More than 100,000 youth have discovered and celebrated the joy of pedaling two wheels at TKMBD events, and many have gone on to become passionate riders, volunteer trail advocates and even high school mountain bike racers. This is a great opportunity for you to share your passion for pedaling with kids!TKMBD strives to encourage communities around the world to join together and ride mountain bikes with youth. Informal or formal, one child or 100 children, TKMBD celebrates the joy of riding. So whether you’re a dad, uncle, aunt, grandma, or grandpa, and especially if you’re a mom or a kid, we hope you’ll join us for a free, fun day on our mountain bikes!
Join Sprockids San Diego and San Diego Mountain Biking Association for this free event! We have a fun afternoon planned with the CLIF pump track, teeter totters, ramps, cone courses and a number of fun game stations to practice skills and SHRED!
When: Please come early to check in beginning at 9:45 AM, event starts promptly at 10:00 AM and runs until 12:00.

What's needed?
Be sure to bring or have ready the following:
- A recently serviced bike with air in the tires and a lubricated chain.
- Proper clothing attire, workout clothes, avoid baggy clothing. Closed toed shoes.
- A properly fitted helmet.
- Water bottle and a light snack.
