Watain於1998年從黑暗深淵中誕生，猶如惡魔之口中爬出的野獸，掀起了一場至今仍持續燃燒的黑金屬烈焰。憑藉著宗教般的狂熱與徹底的獻身精神，他們一步步從地下走向世界舞台，成為現代黑金屬最具代表性與爭議性的存在之一。Watain的音樂充滿了劇烈的靈性衝突與儀式感，那股融合了暴烈、詭異與莊嚴的聲響，如同在地獄與神聖之間燃燒的火焰，既具毀滅性，也帶有某種扭曲的崇高。
他們的現場演出更是惡名昭彰，被視為現代黑金屬的宗教儀典：血、火、屍臭與信仰交織的舞台，在混沌與秩序的邊緣徘徊。極端的現場美學與全身心的投入，讓他們成為「真實黑金屬精神」的化身，也讓無數追隨者在他們的儀式中見證到一種接近神性的毀滅。

這場演出將是 Watain 在台灣唯一、也是最後一次的現場儀式。
在永夜與焚火之間，他們將以最極端的形式結束這三十年燃燒的軌跡。

Watain emerged from the depths of darkness in 1998, like a beast crawling out of the Devil’s maw, igniting a black metal flame that continues to burn to this day. With religious fervor and total devotion, they ascended from the underground to the world stage, becoming one of the most iconic and controversial forces in modern black metal. Their music is charged with spiritual conflict and ritualistic intensity—a furious, haunting, and solemn sound that burns between hell and the sacred, destructive yet strangely transcendent.
Their live performances are infamous, regarded as religious ceremonies of modern black metal: a stage drenched in blood, fire, decay, and faith, trembling on the edge between chaos and order. Through their uncompromising aesthetic and complete self-immersion, Watain became the very embodiment of true black metal spirit—an unholy communion where countless followers have witnessed a kind of divine annihilation.
Now, as frontman Erik Danielsson declares the band’s final chapter, the legend of Watain approaches its end. It is not merely the close of an era, but the extinguishing of a sacred flame that has burned for three decades. From their raw underground origins to their later spiritual and philosophical explorations of death, Watain have remained unwavering in their devotion to the pure essence of black metal—where fanaticism and sincerity are the only truths.
This will be Watain’s first and last live ritual in Taiwan.
Between eternal night and burning fire, they will conclude their thirty-year journey in the most extreme form imaginable—
