The Bill Memorial Library invites kids in grades K-5 to participate in our animal-themed Summer Reading program. Summer Reading packets will be available at the library beginning Tuesday, June 22 and will include a free book. Kids keep track of their reading or complete special activity sheets and earn raffle tickets towards terrific prizes including gift cards from Dairy Queen, Lee's Toys and Hobby, Mystic Luxury Cinemas, The Cloak and Dagger and much more. Preschoolers can join in the fun too, with activity packets available for the younger kids as well. Parents of younger children can read to kids and keep track of days read on reading logs, or complete special activity sheets together and earn raffle tickets towards prizes.
Meet Freddie, the library’s canine mascot, between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm.

Summer Reading begins Wednesday, June 23 and runs through Wednesday, August 4. Forms and reading logs will also be available to download on the library’s website billmemorial.org.
