Taiko Drum Workshop

Join us for a Taiko Drum demonstration and experience! Participants are invited to learn about the history and cultural significance of this dynamic Japanese art form, observe students perform during their final class of B'more Taiko's summer program, and try their hand at drumming in an open drum session.

B'more Taiko

B'more Taiko seeks to foster community and fun through the art of "kumi daiko," or Japanese group drumming. Grounded in Japanese and Japanese-American traditions, but now practiced all around the world, taiko offers a unique form of music-making and physical activity that's accessible to all. We offer classes, workshops, and outreach activities in Baltimore City.
