La Jolla Taiko will be performing their annual “Taiko Beats” show at La Jolla Country Day School’s outdoor amphitheater on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm. Join us for an evening of drums in all shapes and sizes, rhythms of all shades, and boundless energy! All ages are welcome!La Jolla Taiko is a community-based group comprised of members of all ages and backgrounds. The group has developed a base in traditional taiko artistry and spirit, and infused that with influences from a wide range of contemporary and world music.
Parking: Free parking in the lot off Genesee Ave.
Cost: Free, donations welcome
Covid Precautions: Masks will be encouraged though not required. Venue is an outdoor amphitheatre where social distancing can be employed.
