Join our Taichi workshop and dive into the art of balance and energy flow. Perfect for beginners, this workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of Taichi, an ancient martial art rooted in Taoist philosophy.
You'll start with a brief introduction to Taichi, followed by breathing meditation and warming-up exercises. Experience Baduanjin, a Qigong practice with 8 simple movements to generate energy. After a short break, enjoy a demonstration and gentle introduction to the 8 Yang style forms.
About Bin
Bin Zhu has deep roots in Taichi. She trained under a master in China, earning a couple of awards in Beijing District Martial Art competition, and now leads classes and workshops in the Netherlands. This summer, Bin will teach at the Wereldmuseum's Martial Art exhibition summer program.
