Tai Chi Push Hands Open Mat

Join us for an evening of friendly competition and skill-sharing. This event is open to all levels, from veteran mixed martial artists, to relative beginners in Tai Chi Chuan. Connect with fellow practitioners, hone your technique, and experience the profound benefits of push hands training.

We will follow relaxed versions of all the standard push hands rulesets!

Unlike normal Tai Chi classes, which move through a structured and guided lesson plan -- open mats allow creative and collaborative exploration. They provide a rare and valuable opportunity for different arts, styles, and schools to exchange strengths and learn from each other.
