Join a 6 weeks 2x a week 90 min evidenced based Tai Chi fall prevention class. Endorsed by National Council on Aging.
We encourage you to attend all classes for the best experience and greatest benefits.
Includes: 2 classes/week AND
-Online weekly practice video
-Pre- and post- test of balance and cognition (20-30 min each)
Pre session Assessment on June 29 between 11:30-3:30
Post session Assessment after class on Aug. 12 and possibly
Aug 13
What happens in class?
Learn Basic Tai Chi Moves, Qigong and adapted Tai Chi Form
Use a chair at your side for support and sitting
Get to know other participants at teatime and discussions
Learn how to integrate tai chi into your everyday life
Plan ways to practice at home
FEE: Sliding Scale $75- $195
Scholarships available.
DVD and book available for additional fee.
