Is Tai Chi Right For Me?Tai Chi is for everyone! No experience needed. If your goal for learning Tai Chi is to strengthen your body, improve your mental balance and add harmony to your life, then this program is an ideal starting point!
Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will learn warm-up movements, 4 Qi Gong breath exercises, foundational Tai Chi movements, and the first 6 easy steps of the widely popular Tai Chi 24 Form. Led by qualified certified instructors using the stepwise progressive teaching method created by Dr Paul Lam of the Tai Chi for Health Institute.

Attire:
Wear loose comfortable clothes, wear socks or go barefoot (or shoes specifically for martial arts/tai chi practice). Class will take place on a matted surface.

Classes will be held Oct 1 - Dec 1 (don't worry if you miss the first class or two) at 5:30-6:20pm on Mondays and Wednesdays with Master Trainer Patricia Lawson (Wednesdays) and Sa Bom Nim Melanie Mearse (Mondays). Entire session paid in full is $180, or $100/month. 10% discount for Texas Academy of Martial Arts students and their immediate family members.
