This class meets Tuesdays from June 15, 2021 to September 28, 2021. If you don't find answers to your questions in the details below, please call us at (256) 845-8590.
Are you interested in improving your health, your balance, and your mind? Consider tai chi. Don’t confuse tai chi with hard martial arts. Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that today is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner. Tai chi will teach you patience, give you confidence, and inspire you.
Join us to learn a simple form of tai chi that will improve your balance, assist you in falls prevention, and perhaps help you to deal with a chronic condition such as arthritis, depression, and neurologic conditions like Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis. Come make new friends and expand your social network.
Our FREE class will be a 16-week session. Once it ends, we will take a few weeks off then restart the class. We’ll meet once a week and you’ll learn a routine that
consists of 21 moves. Sound like too much? It’s not. You can do it!
