Tacony LAB NE Philly Community Fine Art Show First Friday!

Join us on Friday, April 10th from 6pm to 9 pm at the Tacony LAB Community Arts Center for our 3rd Annual NE Philly Community Fine Art Show First Friday. We will have light refreshments.

This is an event to showcase works that Northeast Philadelphia Residents have created. You do not need to have taken classes at the LAB to partcipate.
Mural Arts Philadelphia Tacony LAB Community Art Center is inviting artists from Northeast Philadelphia artists to exhibit their artwork at a Community Art Show. The exhibit will take place from April 10th to April 24th 2026. There is no charge to participate and all art media are welcome to apply. Please fill out the submission form below if you would like to be a part of this exhibit.

Rules for Submission:

• Submit 1-2 pieces of artwork, (examples of acceptable work: illustrations, paintings, prints, and mixed media on paper, canvas, wall hanging or 3 dimensional piece). Due to limited space, we are asking that artists only submit up to 2-3 pieces. The total of artists will determine how many pieces will be accepted into the show.
• Please email photos of your work at the time of submitting the application to [email protected]
• Artists must set price and payment method if listing the artwork for sale. Sales must be completed between artist and buyer.
• Art will remain hanging for the entirety of the show
• A social media handle or QR can be displayed with your information if desired. Please submit that information with this application
• All artwork must be dropped off to the Tacony LAB Community Art Center by no later than April 6th during open studio hours (12pm-8pm)
• The art show opening will be in person at the LAB on Friday, April 10th from 6pm - 9 pm with the last day to view the show on Thursday April 30th.
• Artwork must be picked up during open studio hours before Tuesday, May 5th. If your work is left after this date, we will do our best to keep it safe, but cannot be held responsible for loss or damage as we are limited in space for artwork storage.

What is the Tacony LAB Community Arts Center? We are a community art center funded by the City of Philadelphia located in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. We are a program of Mural Arts Philadelphia.

At the Tacony LAB, providing accessible and free art is a priority. We offer free classes for adults and children. Our classes range from fiber arts, drawing and painting, to crafting and more. We provide a safe and inclusive space to work on your projects while receiving support from our attending artists and staff. We encourage you to visit during our open studio hours for a tour of all that our incredible art center packs in. We are excited to invite you to be a part of the developing artist community that we have here!
