About this Event
Welcome to the TACKLING RACISM IN SCHOOLS AWARD PRESENTATION NIGHT!
Join us at the Yoko Ono Lennon Centre for an inspiring evening recognizing schools from across Merseyside, who are making a difference in combating racism and celebrating diversity.
We will be celebrating our participating schools, Ambassadors, and educators who are dedicated to fostering inclusivity and diversity in educational settings. They will be receiving their Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award, in recognition of their hard work and commitment to creating inclusive and anti-racist learning environments. Come together with like-minded individuals to honor the champions of change.
There will be performances from:
- Belvedere students, Jemima and Kadisha
- Liverpool's own Urban Griot, Levi Tafari
- and samba reggae band, Batala Mersey
All in honour of the memory of Anthony Walker, and to recognise the vital work of tackling racism in our schools!
