Welcome to Table Talks at draft.

Rooted in the belief that community is an invaluable resource, Table Talks create a safe space to have conversations. The structure is designed to reinforce that no one is an island, and empower each other through resource and knowledge sharing.

To do this, attendees will hear from trusted peer voices, engage with the topic through structured conversation, and share knowledge in open discussion. As an attendee you will walk away with a better understanding of how peers are tackling the same problems you are, examples of practical solutions and a stronger sense of network.

This Table Talk: Establishing your Creative Venture kicks off our 2025 series.

Hear from Miguel Dominquez, owner of MD Media Production, Bo Turner, owner of FIND Indianapolis, and Rebecca Zettler, owner of draft with moderation from Meg Hovious, owner of Here*.

With a panel of peer voices, and dedicated small group and large group discussion spaces we'll explore:

• Taking the dive, what it takes to go from idea to starting a business.
• Helpful structures when you start out.
• Tips for starting out (hint: stay connected!).
• Resassurances that we are all just figuring it out as we go.

Plus, plenty of in the moment learning as we talk to each other and pool our knowledge and experiences!

What to Expect:

A two hour peer-to-peer conversation space:

In the first hour we will have a quick opening activity, followed by a panel of peer voices sharing about their entrepreneurial journey. We'll close out the hour with a "Ask me anything" style Q&A for our peer voices.

In the second hour we will turn towards the table and learn from each other in guided small group and large group discussion. To close out we'll revisit our opener activity to reflect on what we've learned/and still have questions about!

Casual and Interactive:

We designed table talks to be a space where you feel comfortable. Organic connections happen when we are at ease. We want you to show up ready to be a curious learner and leave feeling like your story has value.
