Table Rock Trail Sign Dedication

Before the valley, there was a massive ancient lake. Come see how four brand-new trail signs reveal the fiery, watery geological history written in Table Rock's stone.
The signs summarize the geologic history of the Boise Valley and were installed by the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology (IMMG) 30 years ago. New updated signs were placed a couple of weeks ago partway up Table Rock on the Ridge to Rivers trail.
Museum Board President Steve Cox will give a brief overview of the signs and share their locations on the Table Rock trail. The presentation will take less than 40 minutes but will be important to recognizing a significant event in the Museum’s history.
Even if you can’t hike to the signs, we will have exact replicas of the four signs on display at the Museum.
