UPDATE: DUE TO UPCOMING RAIN AND UNSAFE TRAIL CONDITIONS, THIS RIDE IS RESCHEDULED TO APRIL 28!!!STAGING: 18171 Lost Creek Rd Santa Clarita, CA 91390: Parking is not at this exact address nor where it usually is. You will continue straight through the big gates into the hog farm. Parking will be in the big turnout area which will be clearly seen after you drive over the small knoll about ½ mile. DO NOT turn on the first left road. Follow the ribbons if you need to. Park Smart and think of others for first arrivals.
IN THE SADDLE, READY TO RIDE, AT 10 AM
This is a 10-mile ride with spectacular views and greenery. Poppies and other array of flowers will be in full bloom and color. We will be riding up the wash which may have some water running. Then up a gradual 1.5 mile climb to the rim to get full view of Table Rock in Texas Canyon. Here we can stop for lunch, which is the halfway point. Please bring your own lunch. After lunch stop, we will have a few more intermittent climbs then the rest is a gradual downhill. There are two places that is a decent grade downhill. We will enter what we call the secret garden where at this time of year is a real treat! You will feel like you are in Switzerland- Where the hills sing!
