It’s going to be on June 12th at 10am and 1pm. Max is 40 children ages 5-15.
The program will last around 1.5 hours and will go along a section of the Lakeside Trail, about a quarter mile into the trail. The program is structured to have stopping points along the way where students will participate in activities geared around common plants and animals, our senses, and a little about the history of the park.
The price will be $3 per student and they would not pay admission. One adult from each family would count as a chaperone and would not need to pay entry fees. All other members of the family that join the program in support of the enrolled student(s) would pay regular daily admission. Adults 16 and up are $6. Seniors over 65 are $3.75. Tag alongs under 5yrs old are free.
The path is NOT stroller friendly.
There is a playground and lots of picnic tables around to hang out and eat and play if/when it’s not your groups turn.
