Tablatun is a band that showcases the rhythm/retuning software of Matthew Aidekman, turning the classical Indian tabla drum into a wealth of harmonic and melodic possibilities. Blended with Rothenberg's clarinets and a world of soundscapes of mockingbirds, humpback whales, cicadas, and pond creatures, it is a live music unlike any other... and no one has been able to hear it in more than a year.
