Cristo Cortés is currently recognized as the leading French flamenco singer, respected and sought after by numerous artists worldwide. His unique vocal timbre and deep knowledge of the flamenco art form—encompassing singing, dance, and guitar—combined with extensive stage experience and outstanding personal qualities, make him an exceptional artist.
Born in Marseille in 1971 into a family of singers hailing from the Almería region of Andalusia, he is sought after by most professional dancers in both France and Spain, including Andrés Marín, Soraya Clavijo, Joaquín Grilo, La Farruca, José Galván, Fuensanta la Moneta, and Carmen Ledesma.
