Join us for an unforgettable evening of music, community, and service as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square’s first performance at the Hollywood Bowl!
We are hosting a massive Community Watch Party to experience the 2026 "Songs of Hope" concert broadcast replay. Bring the kids and invite your friends to this free, family-friendly event. Everyone is welcome!

🗓️ When, Where & What to Wear
• Date: Friday, June 26, 2026
• Time: BBQ & Activities start at 5:00 PM | Broadcast begins at 7:00 PM
• Location: Community of Christ Auditorium, 1001 W. Walnut St., Independence, MO. Games and food will be near the stake center and on the grassy pageant grounds
• Dress: Summer Casual. Wear your America 250 shirt if you have one. A limited number of shirts (sizes L and XL will be available for sale at the event)

🌟 Evening Highlights
• Live Local Openers: Featuring performances from a missionary choir a children’s choir, and choirs from throughout our community!
• Barbecue Dinner: Enjoy delicious BBQ dinner starting at 5:00 PM.
• Family Games & Activities: Fun for all ages.
• The Concert: Experience the stunning high-definition broadcast recording of The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square from the Hollywood Bowl.

🥣 COMMUNITY CHALLENGE: 2500 Boxes of Cereal!
We are partnering with Community Services League to fight local food insecurity! Our goal is to collect 2,500 boxes of cereal to help restock their shelves.
• How to Participate: Please bring a box (or five!) of your favorite cereal to the event.
• The Goal: Gather 250 x 10 (2500) boxes of cereal!

*This is a community-focused celebration of music and kindness. Bring your friends, neighbors, and your cereal donations!
