Taber Winter Festival is a celebration of the coming holiday season and a chance for people to start their shopping locally. There will be a tree lighting on 47 ave, (in front of Napa Autopart) put on by the Taber Fire Department. Sponsors will provide free swimming, skating, a movie, pictures with Santa and a hay ride. Lots of participating businesses offering awesome deals and double stamps on your Passport to Christmas.
Jingle Sale hosted by the Taber Public Library will be at the Civic Centre from 4 pm to 8 pm https://www.facebook.com/events/1636697106820601/1636697113487267/
FREE Swimming sponsored by Taber IGA from 7 pm - 9 pm
FREE Skating sponsored by Taber Kinsmen Club from 6:45 - 7:45 pm
FREE Hayride sponsored by 1st Choice Savings & Credit Union. They will start at their location on 47 ave but also make stops at the Civic Centre for those wanting to stop and shop. 6 pm - 8 pm
Santa sponsored by 1st Choice Savings & Credit Union in their location from 6 pm - 8 pm. Please plan to bring your own camera to take the photo.
FREE Kids Crafts to-go will be handed out by MNP, look for them inside or outside 1st Choice Savings.
FREE Movie, The Christmas Chronicles sponsored by Spider Entertainment and hosted by Parallel Church will go from 7 pm - 8:50 pm. There will be a concession available. Please consider bringing a toy for the Shop of Wonders. (Accepted gratefully but not required).
The Town of Taber will be closing the 47ave between 53st and 55st to accommodate the hayride and some warming stations and bon-fires along that road.
