T-Town Witches Ride

Hi T-Town Witches!

We are excited that the T-Town witches will once again “fly” on their decorative “broomcycles” through downtown Tuscaloosa on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the 4th Annual T-Town Witches Ride! Imagine a scene straight out of the Wizard of Oz with hundreds of Tuscaloosa women bewitchingly dressed in their most creative witch costumes to ride or walk for The Arc of Tuscaloosa County and the 300+ individuals it serves in our community.

Women 18 years of age and older are invited to participate and family and friends of all ages are encouraged to line the sidewalks to view the parade of witches flying through downtown. While the witches are “flying”, children are invited to participate in the Kids Zone at Government Plaza.

The two mile bicycle ride and the one mile Walk will begin and end at Government Plaza. There will be entertainment, kid’s zone, silent auction, and prizes and awards for our winners. Awards will be given out for the Best Dressed Witch, Best Broomcycle, and Best Group Theme with prizes donated by local businesses.

Registration is $25 and participants are encouraged to pre-register online or may register in person at The Arc of Tuscaloosa County. Registration and packet pick-up will begin at 3:00 pm at Government Plaza and the ride will begin promptly at 5:00 pm on October 17th. We will celebrate after the ride/walk with a “Witches Brew Ha-Ha” from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Tickets are $25 per person. There will be live music, great food and a cash bar.

The Arc of Tuscaloosa County, Inc. supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Tuscaloosa County and through proceeds of the T-Town Witches Ride we will continue to provide transportation for the individuals we serve.

In the meantime, shake those cobwebs out of your brooms and start thinking about your witchy wardrobe!
