T. Miller School Supply Giveaway

Hello Friends and Neighbors,This year marks Year 3 of my T. Miller School Supply Drive, and I’m so proud to continue this effort in partnership with Lou Malnati’s, Open Books, and my amazing community — the 1900–2100 Strong Block Club in North Lawndale.As someone who recently graduated with my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, I understand how crucial it is for children to feel prepared, supported, and confident from day one. My studies have deepened my commitment to helping kids and families thrive — because when we invest in our kids, we invest in our whole community.Each year, I collect and purchase school supplies, create resource bags, and personally distribute them to local children and families — because every child deserves to start the school year ready, equipped, and encouraged to succeed. I do this because I know that exposure raises expectation. When our kids see their community show up for them, it inspires them to dream bigger and believe in what’s possible for their future.
