Sarah Walter is an accomplished executive leader, coach, and technical expert with a wealth of experience in aerospace engineering and management. She holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University and has over 18 years of global experience in product development, digital transformation, and portfolio management, with success in delivering industry-leading products and methods for high-profile organizations. As the Vice President of Space Vehicle Engineering at York Space Systems, she oversees the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge space technologies that push the boundaries of innovation. At York, she has been instrumental in changing the space industry through rapid adaptation of a standard product through the application of lean production philosophies in an engineering and manufacturing. Before joining York, she served as CTO at Aero Gearbox international in France, where she held full accountability for optimizing enterprise IT systems, overseeing product safety and development, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Throughout her career, Sarah has championed technical excellence, innovation, collaborative leadership, and mentorship, making her a driving force in both engineering and organizational development.

Cheryl Perich is a published author, patented inventor, and engineering director with extensive experience in aerospace. She holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Marquette University and a master's degree from Cornell University, earned under an NSF Fellowship. Cheryl has contributed to key aerospace projects, including updating thermal models for the International Space Station, supporting space shuttle mission operations, and leading space vehicle systems engineering for the Dream Chaser vehicle and later for Ball Aerospace (now BAE Systems). She now directs the Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) organization at York Space Systems.
