The choreography is intended to be simple enough to pick up for anyone with some experience of dance classes, so even if you've not made it along to the classes on Tuesdays / Wednesdays at The Skate Sanctuary, you'll still be able to join in.
It's great fun to skate in a group formation and made different shapes and patterns on the floor - this is synchronised skating, with extra ribbons!
You need to be able to control your speed, lemon and stop. The more confidence you have, the more confidently you will be able to join in. If you usually attend our Sunday Skills Workshop, you should find yourself at the right point of stretch and enjoyment.

Emphasis in this class is on good technique and skate control.
Growth mindset in our skaters is encouraged - this class is designed to push you out of your comfort zone, however all exercises are optional.
Many of these skills will likely take months or years to perform confidently on a range of surfaces and from high speed - this class gives you the opportunity to practise with coaching support.
