Symposium on Words, Music and Silence
About this Event

This one-day symposium, exploring the theme of Words, Music and Silence, is organised by The Open University Literature and Music Research Group in partnership with University Music Bournemouth. Paper presentations will be offered across three panels. The day concludes with a lecture recital exploring words, music, silence and disability given by the concert pianist Duncan Honeybourne, whose career has been shaped by his autism.

You can find the full symposium programme and information about accommodation in Bournemouth on our symposium webpage by clicking here.

The symposium will take place at Bournemouth University (Wallisdown Campus, BH12 5BB) and is free to attend. Free parking is available, but you will need to book this in advance by emailing [email protected] and stating your vehicle registration.

If you are ONLY attending the lecture recital you do not need to book parking or acquire a ticket through Eventbrite.
