Are you curious about what natural phenomena sound like when set to music? Richard Strauss, for example, set out at night when he was fifteen to see the sunrise on a mountaintop in the Alps. On his descent, however, he was caught in a thunderstorm. He later turned his memories into a symphonic poem. Enjoy the sound of cowbells, a wind machine, and a thunderbolt.
