Sydney: icare NSW, Government Tender Opportunities & Aged Care in home supp
About this Event
Session Overview & Synopsis
Exploring NSW Government Procurement, Provider Registration & Funded Service Opportunities Beyond the NDIS
As Australia's disability, community care and aged care sectors continue to evolve, new opportunities are emerging for providers seeking to diversify beyond traditional NDIS-funded services.
This practical information session will explore icare NSW provider opportunities, NSW Government tender and prequalification schemes, and the 2026 Support at Home aged care reforms, with a focus on eligibility, registration, tender submissions and pathways into government-funded service delivery.
Attendees will gain an understanding of identified opportunities across Lifetime Care, Workers Care, specialist allied health, behaviour support, disability transport, cleaning and domestic services, and in-home aged care.
The session will examine the following NSW Government procurement and provider arrangements:
- icare NSW – Case Managers & Care Needs Assessors (SCM11991): Provider applications for case management and care needs assessment services supporting people with severe injuries through Lifetime Care and Workers Care. Advertised closing date: 2 November 2026.
- NSW Department of Education – Specialist Allied Health & Behaviour Support (SCM5604): Opportunities for qualified allied health and behaviour support providers to deliver specialist services in NSW public schools.
- NSW Department of Education – Cleaning Services, Hunter Central Coast (SCM9051): Prequalification opportunities for organisations delivering cleaning and related services.
- NSW Department of Education – Assisted School Travel Program (SCM100001): Provider arrangements for specialised transport services supporting students with disability.
- Support at Home – Aged Care Reforms & Provider Registration 2026
The session will also examine the Commonwealth Support at Home program, including aged care provider registration, regulatory and compliance requirements, service categories, and opportunities for disability and community care organisations seeking to expand into government-funded in-home aged care.
Particular attention will be given to registration pathways through the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, third-party service delivery arrangements, and opportunities across personal care, nursing, allied health, domestic assistance and community support.
Understanding Tender Submissions & Provider Readiness
Attendees will receive an overview of how to identify suitable government opportunities, assess eligibility, prepare supporting documentation, demonstrate organisational capability and navigate tender, prequalification and provider registration processes.
The session is designed to provide practical insights into how existing disability, rehabilitation and community care organisations can assess opportunities to expand their services into other government-funded markets.
