🚗 Travel & Parking
• Public Transport:
• Several buses from Sheffield city centre stop close to the park.
• Nearest train station: Chapeltown — frequent buses run from there to Longley Park.
• Parking:
• Small car park on Crowder Road (for officials and marshals only).
• All other parking is on surrounding streets — please park considerately and keep access clear for residents.
• 💡 Car Sharing Encouraged:
Please try to share lifts where possible to reduce congestion and support local residents.

• Toilets: 4 portable toilets in the Crowder Road car park
• Refreshments: None available in the park — please bring your own drinks and snacks.
🏞️ Course Information
• Terrain: Mostly cut parkland grass, with some longer grass sections
• Landscape: Undulating, with one fairly steep hill
• Conditions: Can be muddy after rain
• Paths: 1–2 narrow path crossings per lap
• Start area: Flat field
🔢 🎽 Numbers, Vests & Results
• Race numbers must be securely pinned to the front of your club vest.
➤ Numbers not clearly visible or not attached to the vest will not be recorded by officials.
• John Fellows has extra vests — please collect yours before the race and return it afterwards.
• Make sure your number is firmly fastened (preferably with 4 pins).
• After finishing, stay in your finishing position — do not overtake or move out of order until your number has been taken.
➤ This ensures accurate results.
🩺 Health & Safety
• Write any medical information on the back of your race number.
• No headphones or music devices — you must be able to hear marshals and other park users.
