Our next run at SWR Offroad is February 22 & 23, 2025.Our January run last weekend brought a record 107 rigs to ORC/SWR, which overwhelmed the registration process, as well as a couple of my Trail Leaders!
To help address that situation in the future,I will open Registration at 7 AM instead of 7:30, and will have more help to speed the registration process.
And, I'm urging clubs and groups to show up early, register, and hit the trails, without needing to attend the Driver's Meeting. At least one member of each group MUST have attended a prior run, and be willing to make certain all have registered, and guide their group of at least 2 vehicles.
I cannot guarantee I will have an adequate number of Trail Guides on hand. I ask that the Guide for each group let me know how many rigs are in his/her group, and what GMRS channel they'll be on.
Also, I am going to do my best to limit group size to 15 vehicles. This may mean that I'll need someone at that level of group to step up and act as the Guide.
