We are delighted to present an afternoon of the finest in Big Band Swing!
Swingtime Big Band are the North West's finest exponents of swing and big band music and they will be presenting an afternoon of dynamic, swinging numbers showcasing these 17 brilliant musicians. This band has formed a stellar reputation and is the resident band at the annual Southport Jazz Festival having performed alongside the UK's biggest names in Jazz and Swing such as Matt ford, Clare Teal, Liane Carroll and Andy Prior.
Joining the band will be vocalist Emma Holcroft who will be singing numbers form the libraries of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, Peggy Lee as well as more modern artists such as Robin McKelle. As well as performing solo and with smaller jazz ensembles Emma is right at home fronting this powerhouse band.
This show takes place in the beautiful surroundings of the Bold Hotel in Southport and tickets are priced at just £16.00. Why not make an afternoon of it and enjoy one of The Bold Hotel's fabulous sunday carverys either before or afterwards.
