Swingin' Soul November - First Soul-O dance contest!

Swingin' Soul Night is back on Saturday, November 16th with guest DJ Ashley Cohen Conner and the first annual Soul-O dance contest! Free parking, huge dance floor, full bar, dance lesson and the best 50's and 60's soul and R&B tunes to dance to.

7:30pm doors open
8:15pm Dance lesson (all levels)
10pm Soul-O contest prelims
11pm Soul-O contest finals
dancing til midnight!!!

$10 entry
This is a SOLO dance contest to soul music. No partner dancing! We want to see the best footwork, body movement, style and grooves.
Register beforehand via Eventrbrite or at the door. Collect bib number at check-in

Prelims - All-skate format. Contestants will dance approximately 1 minute of 3 different songs.

Finals - A short all-skate warm-up song followed by a phrase battle.
Phrase Battle - 2 different songs, in which each finalist will enter 1 at a time and get one spotlight to both songs.
A short All-skate once every finalist has gone twice.
