The Swingin’ Medallions are no strangers to the City of Statesboro or to the Downtown Live Stage! They’ll be returning to the stage on Thursday, June 27, 2024 for the fifth concert in this year’s series with their fun blend of beach, rock and pop music. The Swingin’ Medallions have been making music since 1962, with new and different members stepping in to replace those that have retired or left the band. Their 1966 song, “Double Shot of My Baby’s Love”, made the group famous with 1.5 million albums sold.
Grab your dancing shoes and lawn chair and join the fun in Downtown Statesboro this summer. Admission to the concerts is open to the public. Food trucks and vendors will open at 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event with several downtown restaurants also within walking distance of the concert stage. Downtown Live is a family-friendly event for all ages.
