Rhythm Capital is Canberra's hottest swing band featuring jazz from the golden age of swing music and beyond. Band leader and reeds player, Justin Buckingham, has assembled what he calls the Capital's "swingingest" musicians playing standards from the greats such as Louis Armstrong, Artie Shaw, Chick Webb, Count Basie, to name a few.
This 7-piece band has a huge following in Canberra, playing to rave reviews, and any appearance by the band at ‘Jazz at Jamison’ is eagerly awaited! Perfect for those who love to dance but also for those who just love to sit back and tap those toes.
Rhythm Capital on this occasion will feature Justin Buckingham on sax, clarinet and vocals, Zach Raffan on trumpet, Luke Davis on trombone, Greg Stott on guitar, Damien Slingsby on keyboard, Phil Dick on bass and Steve Richards on drums.
