Nous sommes ravis de vous inviter à une soirée swing au Cinex à Namur avec le groupe The Morning Call Jazz Band🎷🎺. Sortez vos plus belles tenues des années 30 et préparez-vous à voyager dans le temps !
Que vous soyez danseur expérimenté, curieux, seul(e), en couple ou simplement amateur de musique swing, cette soirée est faite pour vous !
Au programme
Avant la soirée, nous organisons deux workshops :
13h00 – 15h00 : Workshop Aerials, avec Anastasia et Mikael
(attention : Niveau intermédiaire requis, pas de changement de partenaire, tenue de sport conseillée, manches longues et baskets recommandées)
15h30 – 17h30 : Workshop Solo Jazz, avec Brieuc

The Morning Call Jazz Band:
Mathieu Najean (saxophones), Timothé Le Maire (trombone), Guillaume Gillain (guitare), Andrew Bolton (contrebasse) et Laurent Vigneron (batterie) sont cinq jeunes musiciens débordants d’énergie qui partagent avec enthousiasme leur passion du swing, inspirée par des compositeurs et musiciens tels que Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Sidney Bechet et Count Basie.
Instrumentistes talentueux, ils se régalent également de leurs voix lorsqu’ils chantent — en chœur ou en solo — dans le style barber shop des The Mills Brothers.
Dotés d’un sens explosif et précis du rythme et des mélodies, ils vous enchanteront avec leur musique !

We are delighted to invite you to a swing evening at the Cinex in Namur with The Morning Call Jazz Band. Put on your finest 1930s outfits and get ready to travel back in time!
Whether you are an experienced dancer, curious beginner, coming alone, with a partner, or simply a swing music lover, this event is for you!

Before the party, we are organizing two workshops:
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Aerials Workshop, with Anastasia and Mikael
(please note: intermediate level required, no partner rotation, sportswear recommended, long sleeves and sneakers advised)
3:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Solo Jazz Workshop, with Brieuc

• 1 workshop (2h): €40 (party entry included)

The Morning Call Jazz Band
Mathieu Najean (saxophones), Timothé Le Maire (trombone), Guillaume Gillain (guitar), Andrew Bolton (double bass), and Laurent Vigneron (drums) are five energetic young musicians who enthusiastically share their passion for swing, inspired by composers and musicians such as Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Sidney Bechet, and Count Basie.
Talented instrumentalists, they also love to sing — together or solo — in the barber shop style of The Mills Brothers.
With their explosive sense of rhythm and melody, they will enchant you with their music!
