Beginning class which will cover Swing fundamentals, technique and basic steps following Bronze (beginning) syllabus. You do not need dance experience to attend this course. Swing dance is a group of dances that developed with the swing style of jazz music in the 1920s–1940s, with the origins of each dance predating the popular “swing era”. During the swing era, there were hundreds of styles of swing dancing. East Coast Swing(ECS) is one of the most popular form of social partner dance. It is danced under fast swing music, including rock and roll and boogie-woogie.

****Shoes/Clothing - clothing should comfortable and suitable for dancing/moving; please bring a change of clean shoes; if you don't have dance shoes yet, dress shoes are best; tennis shoes are worst (they stick to the dance floor and prevent your feet from pivoting/turning).
