★ ★ ★ ★ “intelligent, interesting and inventive” – The Jazz Mann
Swing from Paris are an all-string jazz quartet of violin, guitars and double bass, inspired by music from the cafés and cabarets of Montmartre to Artie Shaw, Django Reinhardt, Stéphane Grappelli and the master of tango Astor Piazzolla.
In this Christmas Special you'll also hear some cosy classic Christmas jazz numbers, arranged specially for this festive special to get you in the holiday spirit!
With a tight and virtuosic ensemble sound, they bring a distinctive Parisian flair to vintage jazz and stylish swing, with appearances ranging from BBC TV and radio to the French Embassy at Kensington Palace.
