Plymouth's Pilgrim Hall Museum Announces a Golf Tournament Fundraiser Monday, May 13th! Register today to join the fun and be part of this historic event!Pilgrim Hall Museum, a historic landmark and popular attraction in downtown Plymouth, Massachusetts since 1824, has announced its "Swing For History" Golf Tournament. This year is Pilgrim Hall’s 200th anniversary and the tournament is being held to help restore the museum's original 1824 building and the priceless artworks housed within. Scheduled for Monday, May 13th at Southers Marsh Golf Club in the heart of Cranberry Country, this is believed to be Pilgrim Hall's first ever golf tournament.
Southers Marsh, located at 30 Southers Marsh Lane in Plymouth, will open at 11:30 am, day of tournament for registration as well as driving range and practice green access. Shot gun start is set for 1:00 pm with scramble format. Foursomes or individual golfers may play and discounts are available for those paying by April 15. Registration includes box lunch and 200th Anniversary goodie bag, with a hearty cocktail reception and awards immediately following play. Cash bar, "50/50" raffle and mini auction also available. Fundraising efforts for Pilgrim Hall Museum's Restoration Project began last year and are ongoing. Funding was secured in part by a major grant from the Town of Plymouth Community Preservation Act Fund, and with support of a Commonwealth of Massachusetts FY24 Destination Development Grant, administered by the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism.
