✨ Swing Dancing Date Night at Dance Fam ✨Get ready to step, spin, and laugh your way through a night of classic fun!
Join us for Swing Dancing Date Night, a lively evening of movement, music, and connection. ??
From 7:00–8:00pm, Sean and Yara from Naptown Stomp will teach a beginner-friendly Swing/Lindy Hop lesson. No experience needed- but bring a partner! You’ll learn the basic steps, rhythms, and partner connection that make this joyful dance so timeless.
Then from 8:00–8:30pm, we’ll dim the lights, turn up the tunes, and open the floor for practice time so you can dance, laugh, and try out your new moves together.
✨ About the Dance:
Lindy Hop originated in Harlem, NY during the 1920s and 30s alongside jazz music. Created by Black Americans, it quickly spread around the world for its playful, social energy, and it’s still bringing people together today.
We’ll also have light refreshments to keep you fueled while you mingle and dance the night away.
