Swing into the new Year by dancing. Learn to Lindy Hop and CharIeston with Swing Dance Summertown. Dancing gets you fit and makes you feel happy. Whether you were inspired by watching Strictly or just need to work off some of the New Year excess, now is the perfect time to start dancing.
Come and learn to Lindy Hop with Swing Dance Summertown.
A night of Swing Classes for all levels with Beginners, Intermediate, Improver, Practice, Solo Jazz, Switch and Social Dancing all on the menu.
This is a structured course for people who want to learn Lindy Hop from the absolute beginner level right the way up to expert levels.
Join Chris and Lucy with the Summertown Gang to have fun as you learn to dance and discover the joy that Lindy Hop brings.
Classes start at 7:30 every Wednesday at The Cherwell School, The Cherwell School South Site, Marston Ferry Road, Oxford, OX2 6UX.
The costs are:
£6 for members for a full night of dancing
£10 for non members
Special Taster offer for new dancers who want to try it out for the first time.
Membership costs £30 for the year and entitles you to discounts on all our classes and social events.
There is no need to book, you don't need a partner. If you are a couple and want to learn we absolutely welcome you as well. Just come and pay on the door. We take cash, card and contactless payments. See our website for more details.
