There are two workshops for Balboa
*Balboa is a close embrace dance to fast music 🎶
1PM-3PM is a beginners balboa class, designed for new dancers and those that want to brush up on their basics and get more dancing time in. No partner needed, no experience needed, very beginner friendly
4PM-6PM is a beyond the basics balboa class, requirements for this class are knowing how to do the basic footwork and connection for balboa. No partner needed
Each class is $20 individually but if you want to brush up on your basics and sign up for both it will only be $30 total if you do both workshops
We rotate partners in our classes so you can learn how to social dance and feel confident coming to our classes solo
Located at Hannah Block USO on the corner of 2nd and Orange.
We suggest clothes that are comfortable to exercise in and if you can wear shoes that are not too grippy on the floor that will make any spins and movement easier! Feel free to reach out or ask any additional questions that would make you more comfortable getting started with swing dancing or showing up for your first class!
