Swing Dance at the Inklings Coffee Back Room

On Friday May 3 Inklings Coffee will throw open the doors for an all- ages and all-abilities swing and lindy hop dance. Doors open at 6 pm. At 6:30 pm there will be a swing dance lesson and shortly after the Death and Taxes Swing band takes the stage with live danceable music until 8 pm.

The Death and Taxes Swing Band is a unique group made up of seasoned professionals and talented local college students playing the greatest swing hits of the 40’s with a few 90’s swing revival songs - all at a danceable tempo and a comfortable volume level. This band has been described as “…pure excitement and a swingin’ good time” by the Bay County Coastal Newspaper.
