We’re excited to announce other round of BSC’s Swing Bootcamp!
Whether you’re new to swing or returning to brush up on your moves, this is the perfect chance to jump back in. No partner or previous experience required—just come ready in comfortable clothing and flat shoes (leather or suede soles work best). The boot camp will be inside at Epic Ballroom. Have you ever wanted to learn to Lindy Hop but don’t have time to commit to a weekly class? This is your chance! Join us for a 3-hour “crash course” workshop for beginner dancers, looking to expand their Lindy Hop foundations. This class will be taught by none other than BSC's Mike himself!

We will cover six-count basics, basic eight-count, combining 6 and 8 count moves, and basic Charleston. Moves will include the swing out, Lindy circle, swing out from closed, and side by side Charleston if we have time at the end. At the end of this class, you will feel more comfortable and confident in your dancing, ready to take on the dance floor.

Mike H. is one of the founding members of Boston Swing Central. He is a regular social dancer in the Boston scene, loves to host kick-ass dances with amazing bands, and enjoys teaching locally – especially to beginners! He's been obsessed with Lindy Hop and for many years and has danced all across the country and internationally, as well as at several national swing dance camps. He takes pride in making sure moves are broken down, questions are answered, and people have a good time in his classes.
