Come join us Wednesday, 12/11/24 at 7pm at our Chesterfield Store or online for our Speaker Series to hear Nancy McGee give a presentation about "Swimming with Elephants."Nancy McGee is a celebrated underwater explorer, filmmaker, and adventurer with over three decades of experience. A member of the Women Divers Hall of Fame and an Explorers Club Fellow, Nancy has piloted the Exosuit, scuba dived on all seven continents, and captured rare footage of extraordinary marine encounters, including snorkeling with whales, crocodiles, and diving with an elephant. Known for blending scientific exploration with storytelling, her work promotes ocean conservation and has been featured in numerous documentaries, publications and exhibitions. Nancy continues to inspire others to explore and protect our planet’s most remote and fragile aquatic environments.
The Y-kiki Divers Speaker Series host monthly guest speakers with a dash of socializing. It's a great way to meet new dive buddies and share your diving adventures with friends. Presentations are held the second Wednesday of each month, at 7pm. Meet at the Chesterfield store at 6:30pm. For those that can't attend in-person, we will have the presentation available virtually starting at 7pm.
