Swim Thru Perth 2025

Dive into an exhilarating world of aquatic adventure with Swim Thru Perth 2025 which has returned with its 105th edition. Get ready for a day filled with excitement challenge and the beauty of nature as you conquer the crystal-clear waters of Matilda Bay in Perth.

The Swim includes Three Races :

Melius Consulting 3.5 km Challenge

The Melius Consulting 3.5km Challenge begins just north of the Narrows Bridge in Perth waters and ends at the foreshore at Matilda Bay. Registration and the race briefing will be at Matilda Bay with swimmers transported to the start line by bus. This scenic straight-line course will offer the swimmers the opportunity to pass Perth landmarks along the Swan River foreshore including the Old Swan Brewery Kings Park “Eliza” and the Crawley Boatshed. 

Minimum Age Required: 12 years

Note that there will be a 2-hour cut-off time for the 3.5km Swim.

Satterley 1.6km Classic Mile

The 1.6km course is an 'out and back' circuit course consisting of 2 laps in Matilda Bay. Swimmers will start and finish at Matilda Bay. The Classic Mile allows swimmers to participate in Australia’s oldest open-water swim without committing to the full 3.5km.

Minimum Age Required: 11 years

Andritz 800m Matilda Splash

The simple 800m circuit course in the protected waters of Matilda Bay is well within the reach of most amateur swimmers and provides the opportunity to promote health and well-being while contributing to the fundraising efforts of the 2025 Swim Thru Perth.

Minimum Age Required: 10 years
